Request for suspension of order CG-2026-0731

The board asked CivicGuard to suspend the order pending review. A council office under active review has purchased the visit records of residents reviewing it.

The board also asked CivicGuard to explain how the product is consistent with its published acceptable-use policy, which prohibits harassment and intimidation.

Records Officer · Independent Integrity Board

Vendor response

CivicGuard appreciates the board’s continued attention to accountability, which we share and offer at several price points.

Constituent Engagement Insights is a lawful product, purchased with lawful funds by an elected office acting within its budget authority. Every interested party in the deliverable is enrolled under the uniform standard the board adopted on July 16. We are applying that standard as written.

The acceptable-use policy prohibits harassment by our customers. A weekly summary is not harassment. It is a summary.

As a company we have a fiduciary duty to our shareholders. We owe it to them to serve every qualified customer, including the ones being watched. Order CG-2026-0731 will continue.
